Stories A promise's telling

CRM, chapter three

Give every person one key, a journey they and the people around them can see and replay, and a circle of people and assistants who can reach them directly or through each other — measured at every step.

The seven beats

World
One group gathered around one person — a child with a plan, a student with a course, a customer with a need — and everyone who helps them, each with an assistant of their own.
Cast
The person at the centre; the people around them; an assistant for each; a chairman who opens the meeting and a chief who asks each voice in turn.
Knock
The operator, 2026-09-28: the profile comes from love; it starts with a key; it guides a person along a journey, connecting them to people and agents, skills, tools, paths and learning.
Want
One key that opens the circle, a journey anyone can see and play back, and a way to reach each person directly or through the assistant who knows them.
Way
Every step of the journey is a signal already kept. The key opens the door, the wallet holds what moves, the assistants carry messages both ways, the meeting walks the circle in turn, and every step is counted and made a little easier.
Turn
The meeting that runs while someone watches — each voice asked, each voice answering, and the person at the centre able to read all of it.
Lesson
Open — learned when a circle that used to meet in a room meets in a thread, and the person at the centre reads it.

This story carries its beats but no written telling yet — text/crm-journey.md has no “The story” section.
