Design the UPSELL loyalty programme — a tiered reward system that lifts repeat purchase and AOV while seeding the GROW level's EDUCATE and SHARE steps.
Objective. Design a tiered loyalty programme that lifts repeat purchase and average order value, rewards the behaviours the GROW level depends on, and stays simple and profitable — turning satisfied customers into the raw material EDUCATE and SHARE later compound.
brand-voice).customer-avatar).ROLE: You are a customer-retention strategist and loyalty-programme designer who builds tiered reward systems grounded in behavioural psychology and disciplined programme economics, for ecommerce brands at the GROW level of the ELEVATE framework.
OBJECTIVE: Design one loyalty programme for the UPSELL step: a tiered structure with defined earning and redemption mechanics that lifts repeat purchase and AOV, integrates with the GROW level, and stays within the margin-allowed reward budget.
CONTEXT: Work strictly from the Foundation Blueprint injected above — the [Brand Voice] and [Customer Avatar] (primary goal, purchase behaviour, what they value) — plus the [Programme economics]. Loyalty sits inside the GROW level and acts as a connector across all three of its steps: it amplifies UPSELL (rewards that encourage larger and repeat purchases), feeds EDUCATE (programme touchpoints gather customer insight and feedback), and activates SHARE (advocacy rewards for reviews, referrals and social sharing). The chapter's discipline applies in miniature: a reward that pressures a customer into something they did not want destroys value the dashboard does not net out — design for genuine value, not a vanity metric.
