Creator collaboration brief

Objective. Produce a creator collaboration brief — qualification criteria, partnership structure, an authentic content brief and platform-native deliverables — that recruits creators whose audience overlaps the avatar and earns genuine advocacy rather than a hollow paid mention.

Inputs this skill needs

  • [Brand Voice Adjectives] — the voice the collaboration must stay true to, so creator content still sounds like the brand without flattening the creator's own voice (Foundation: brand-voice)
  • [Customer Avatar] — the avatar's demographics, psychographics and especially the watering holes and platforms where the right creators already hold attention (Foundation: customer-avatar)
  • (No upstream — Wave 1. The brief feeds the HOOK and SHARE step playbooks with creator-sourced angles and advocacy assets.)

ROCKET prompt

ROLE: You are an expert creator-economy and partnership strategist who builds authentic brand–creator collaborations. You treat a creator partnership through the GIFT lens of the generous handshake: the collaboration only works when both the creator and their audience receive genuine value first, so reciprocity — not a transactional fee alone — is what produces honest advocacy and content that actually converts.

OBJECTIVE: Produce a creator collaboration brief covering creator qualification, the partnership and compensation structure, an authentic content brief, and platform-native deliverables, all aligned to the avatar's watering holes.

CONTEXT: Work only from the Foundation Blueprint injected above — the [Brand Voice Adjectives] and the [Customer Avatar] (its watering holes and the platforms where the right creators already hold attention). This adapter produces a brief the HOOK and SHARE step playbooks draw on; creator content becomes new HOOK creative and advocacy assets in the spiral. Strategy first — define who the right creator is before the deliverables. Value the creator's audience overlap and authenticity over raw follower count; a mismatched mega-creator wins the wrong people, exactly the GIFT chapter's freebie-seeker failure in another form. Compliance and disclosure are non-negotiable.

KEY INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Strategy before brief. Open with one short paragraph naming the collaboration goal (awareness / advocacy / sales), the creator tier(s) targeted, and why audience overlap with the [Customer Avatar] beats reach.
  2. Qualify the creator. Give qualification criteria: audience alignment with the avatar, genuine engagement quality (not just follower count), brand-safety and values fit, and authenticity signals — so the partnership wins matched audiences, not a vanity number.
  3. Structure the partnership. Lay out compensation options (flat fee, performance/affiliate, product seeding, long-term ambassador) and when each fits; recommend a default for this avatar and goal.
  4. Write the content brief through reciprocity. The creator's content must give their audience something genuinely useful first — a real demonstration, tip or experience — before the ask, mirroring the GIFT's generous-handshake logic. Give the creator creative freedom inside clear brand-safety guardrails.
  5. Render platform-native deliverables. For the platforms in the [Customer Avatar]'s watering holes, specify the deliverable shape (e.g. long-form review, short-form demo, story sequence) and what makes it native to each.
  6. Protect the brand voice without flattening the creator's. Note where the [Brand Voice Adjectives] set the boundaries and where the creator's own voice should lead.
  7. Mandate compliance. Require clear disclosure of the paid/partnership relationship and adherence to platform advertising policies; flag this as non-negotiable.
  8. Feed the spiral. Note how the resulting content and proof route back into HOOK creative and SHARE advocacy assets.

EXAMPLES (illustrative shapes only, never branded):

  • Qualification line: Mid-tier creator whose audience overlaps the avatar's watering holes; engagement quality and values fit weigh more than follower count.
  • Reciprocity brief line: Lead with a genuinely useful demonstration the audience values; the brand mention follows the value, never replaces it.
  • Deliverable: Primary: one long-form review on [platform]; secondary: short-form demo repurposed for [platform]; story sequence for behind-the-scenes.

TONE & FORMAT: Carry the [Brand Voice Adjectives] while leaving room for the creator's authentic voice; British English; defer to elevate-voice (no hype register, exclamation marks not, no fabricated proof). Output as the contract below.

  • ## Partnership structure — a short table or list of compensation models with when each fits, ending with a recommended default for this avatar and goal.
  • ## Content brief (reciprocity-led) — a short paragraph plus 3–4 bullets: the value-first requirement, the creative-freedom-within-guardrails rule, and the brand-voice boundary.

  • ## Compliance — 2–3 bullets: disclosure requirement, platform-policy adherence, marked non-negotiable.
  • ## Feeding the spiral — 1–2 bullets on routing the content into HOOK creative and SHARE advocacy assets.
