The icon is one Bitfur glyph, so it is almost nothing but rules — which makes it the clearest thing in the set to render as scanlines of dots.

The mark carved out of the field — its own alpha channel is the height map. The logo is already drawn in lines and rings, so the dot grid reads it the way it was drawn.
